“And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His Rest
(His repose – completed work), but to them that believed not? So we see they could not enter in because of unbelief. Let us therefore fear, lest, a Promise being left us of entering into His Rest, any of you should
seem to come short of it.
Can we really trust Him, that He will finish that great work which
He has begun in our hearts and lives ?
For unto us was the gospel (Glad Tidings) preached, as well as unto them: But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard It ! For we which have believed do enter into Rest, as He said, As I have sworn in My wrath, if they shall enter into My Rest (abode, repose, to cease from work, settle): Although the works were finished from the foundation of the world !” Hebrews 3:12,14,18-19, 4:1-3
Note: How many of us are still ‘working’ so hard to win the favour of The Almighty ?
how many are yet in bondage, and struggling in vain, to be set free ? Listen to the Words of our Saviour again . . .
“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you Rest !” Matthew 11:28
He is verily saying, Come unto Me (The Word) of GOD, and I will give you Rest ! For the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are Life ! . . . . and It is I, The Spirit of Life, which will work in you, both to will and to do of My good pleasure !
It is for this reason that so many fail to realize in It’s fullness, the Rest in Christ which has been Promised and assured to each of us. And it is only for one reason that we, as they have been unable to “enter in” to that place of Rest . . . ‘Seated with Christ in heavenly places,waiting also until our enemies are put beneath our feet !’

“For Thou, even Thou, art LORD (Yehuwah) alone; Thou hast made heaven, and the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and Thou preservest them all; And all the host of heaven worshippeth Thee . . . .
‘For by the Word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them, by the Breath (Spirit) of His mouth (speech, sentence, two-edged) . . . For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast !’

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gave them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments. And Thou madest known unto them Thy holy Sabbath (Rest), and commandest them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses Thy servant . . .
And gavest them Bread from heaven . . . and Jesus said unto them, I Am the Bread of Life: he that cometh to Me (The Word) shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me (The Word of GOD) shall never thirst . . . for their hunger, and broughtest forth Water for them out of the Rock for their thirst . . .
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let Him come unto Me, and drink . . . ref: John 6-7
And Thou Promised them that they should go in to possess the land which Thou hadst sworn to give them . . . Thou gavest them also Thy good Spirit to instruct them . . . for the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are Life . . . and withheldest not Thy Manna from their mouth, and gavest them Water for their thirst.
“So shall My Word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but It shall accomplish
that which I please, and It shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent It !” Isaiah 55:11
“When Jesus (Yehushua) therefore had received the vinegar (bitter juice) . . . . Father, if it be possible, take this cup
from Me . . . . He said, It is Finished !
It is Finished = accomplished, paid in full !
“For as ye have received Christ Jesus (The Anointing of Yehuwah’s Salvation), so walk ye in Him . . . . This I say then, Walk in the Spirit . . . . for the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life . . . and ye shall not fulfill the carnal desires of the flesh !” Colossians 2:6 & John 6:63 and Galatians 5:16
Yea, forty years didst Thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lack nothing ! Their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not !” Nehemiah 9:1-38
“And the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) said unto Moses (the man of God), How long will this people provoke (test) Me? and how long will it be ere they believe Me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them ?”

For verily, He is the Lamb of God which was slain from the foundation of the world ! ref: Revelation 13:8
“According as He (Jehovah, Yehuwah) hath chosen us in Him (Jesus, Yehushua) before the foundation of the world . . . !” Ephesians 1:4
Can we, Today ?
Will we even Now, this moment choose to believe every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of Almighty GOD ?
May the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) bless you, your family and congregation
with His Holy Spirit, and with strength and courage to fight the good fight of faith !
