“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life !” I John 1:1
I think that very often we can pay so much attention to the
trees that we miss the forest. The Gospel is so simple that even
a child who is hungry and searching for the Truth will be able to
find and understand it.
One problem that I think many people stumble on, is the word “spirit.” For it is something unseen, yet it’s effect is always present. For the Scripture says that Jehovah (Yehuwah), as well as man has a spirit. It is the mind of the man or woman, it is the character and the will.
None of these things can be attributed to the brain alone, for the brain is but the physical matter which coordinates between the mind and the flesh through chemical and electrical signals. The “mind” or spirit is something which cannot be touched physically. Yet without a doubt exists !
For the Scriptures tell us, “Let this mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus !” Philippians 2:5
And “Christ in us, the hope of glory !” Colossians 1:27
What make these Scriptures so plain is when we look up the original Greek word for “Christ.”
Christ = (G5547), the Anointed from (G5548), to smear, to rub with oil, to consecrate i.e the Anointing
The apostle John makes this even more clear in his letters. I John 2:27 “For the Anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same Anointing teacheth you all things, and is Truth . . . I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . and is no lie, and even as It hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him !” ref: John 14:6
“Sanctify them through Thy Truth, Thy Word is Truth . . . for the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life !” John 17:17 & John 6:63
“Believest thou not that I Am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the Words that I speak unto you, I speak not of Myself: but The Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works !” John 14:10
“For GOD is a Spirit: and they that worship (serve, obey) Him must worship Him in Spirit (mind, rational soul, mental disposition, vital principle) and in Truth !” John 4:24
Is not this the very Promise which the LORD God Almighty has given to each of us ?
“I will put My law (My Word) in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God (Elohim – Almighty One), and they shall be My people !” Jeremiah 31:33
The Word is Christ Jesus (Moshiac Yehushua) = the Anointing of YAH’s Salvation !
And listen to Christ speaking through David (The Beloved) in the Psalm, of His incarnation, “I delight to do Thy will, O My God, Yea, Thy law is within My heart !” Psalm 40:8 and “Thy Word have I hid in My heart, that I might not sin against Thee !” Psalm 119:11
So when did the Father write His Word (His Law) in Jesus’ heart ?
For He was made verily as we are, when He came to this earth 2000 years ago, and as His earthly father and mother read to Him Jehovah’s Word, and as He listened to the Word read aloud every Sabbath in the synagogue, Jesus by faith grasp every Word, and the Spirit of His Father wrote It there within His heart, with His Own hand (finger). Verily, just as He does in ours. ref: Luke 11:20 & Matthew 12:28 and Exodus 31:16-17.
The Spirit of The Father manifest Himself within the Life of His Son, because of the faith which Jesus held in His Father’s faithfulness. ref: Revelation 14:12 (faith of Jesus). And just as He was given power to obey, so we are given power . . . For we are more than conquerors through Him that loves us ! Romans 8:37
“If ye abide in Me (The Word), and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you !”
John 15:7
“Written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the Living GOD; not in tables of stone, but in the fleshy tables of the heart !” II Corinthians 3:3
“Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up . . . But this He spake of the Temple of His body !”
John 2:19-21
“For ye are the Temple of the Living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people !” II Corinthians 6:16
“For the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us !” John 1:14
Not just once 2000 years ago, but Today, Now, if we will hear His Voice, and harden not our hearts. That same Word of Anointing will dwell in our flesh, in our midst (heart) ! ref: Hebrews 3:7 – 4:7
And if we have Christ, we have everything ! “For it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the LORD of hosts !” Zechariah 4:6
“That no flesh should glory in His Presence. For of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of (by) GOD is made unto us Wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and Redemption !” I Corinthians 1:29-30
“For all the Promises (Words) of God in Him (Christ Jesus, The Anointed Word) are Yea (begun), and in Him Amen (completed), unto the glory of God by us !” “For He is the Author and the Finisher of our faith !”
II Corinthians 1:20 & Hebrews 12:2
He is the Word spoken, and it is through Him, that the power (Spirit) of GOD works in us both to will and to do of God’s good pleasure !
The Word is Christ Jesus (Moshiac Yehushua) = the Anointing of YAH’s Salvation !
The Anointed Word, the Spirit-filled Word of GOD
“That Christ (The Anointed One, Anointing) may dwell in our hearts by faith . . . !” Ephesians 3:17
“Christ in you, the Hope of Glory !” Colossians 1:27 and “Let the Word of Christ (Anointing) dwell in you richly (abundantly) . . . !” Colossians 3:16
“Father, glorify Thy name. Then there came a Voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it (in Thee), and I will glorify it again (in Thy children) . . . !” John 12:28 ref: Exodus 33:18-34:7
“Nevertheless, as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD !” Numbers 14:21
“And at that time Michael (One Who is as El’) shall stand up, the Great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was . . . . And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness (righteousness by faith, the 3rd angel’s message in verity) shall shine as the stars for ever and ever !” Daniel 12:1-3, ref: Acts 7:54-59
