And there was delivered unto Jesus (Yehushua) the book of the prophet Esaias, and when He opened the book,
He found the place where it is written . . . “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to proclaim Glad Tidings (the gospel) unto the meek; yea, He hath sent Me (Psalm 107:20) to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound !” Isaiah 61:1 and Luke 4:18-19
And when evening was come, “they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils;
and He cast out the spirits with His Word (Ephesians 6:16-17 and John 3:63), and healed all that were sick . . . That it might be filled full which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, He himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses . . . !” Matthew 8:16-17 and Isaiah 53:4-6
And He called His twelve disciples together, and “gave unto them power* and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
And He (Jesus) sent them to proclaim the Kingdom (Sovereign reign) of God, and to heal the sick . . . . And they departed, and went through the towns,
preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere . . . !” Luke 9:1-6 and 10:1-19*
And Jesus came (after His resurrection), and spake unto them, saying . . . “All power is now given unto Me in both heaven
and in earth. Go ye therefore . . . into all the world, and proclaim these Glad Tidings to every creature. And he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved !
And these signs shall follow them that believe (God’s promises), In My name shall they cast out devils; and they shall speak with new languages. They shall take up* (loose the hold of) serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not harm them . . . They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover !” Matthew 28:18-19 and Mark 16:15-20
