So Great Salvation – a Closer Look at Daniel 9:24 in Light of Calvary !

“For thus saith the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) that created the heavens, God Himself that formed the earth . . . (ref: Psalm 33:6-9 and Genesis 1:1 thru 2:3) I have not spoken in secret, in some dark place of the earth, Yea, I said not unto the seed (children) of Jacob, Seek ye Me in vain . . . for I the LORD that speak righteousness . . . yea, I Am mighty to SAVE . . . !” Isaiah 45:11-19 and 63:1

“God, Who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, by Whom also He made the worlds . . . How shall we escape, if we neglect (are carless, make light of) so great Salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him . . . ?”
Hebrews 1:1-3 and 2:3

“The same power that Christ exercised when He walked visibly among men is in His Word. It was by His Word that Jesus healed disease and cast out demons; by His Word He stilled the sea and raised the dead, and the people bore witness that His Word was with power. He spoke the Word of God, as He had spoken to all the prophets and teachers of the Old Testament. The whole Bible is a manifestation of Christ.

The Scriptures are to be received as God’s Word (Voice) to us, not written merely, but spoken . . . . When the afflicted ones came to Christ, He beheld not only those who asked for help, but all who throughout the ages should come to Him in like need and with like faith. When He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee;” when He said to the woman of Capernaum, “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace,” He spoke to every other afflicted, sin-burdened ones who should seek His help. Matthew 9:2; Luke 8:48.

So with all the promises of God’s Word. In them He is speaking to us individually, speaking as directly as if we could listen to His Voice. It is in these promises that Christ communicates to us His grace* (G5485) and power. They are leaves from that Tree which is “for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:2.
